A Review of Burt: The Airport Cat Book

Burt: The Airport Cat Book is a cute children’s story that will delight cat lovers of any age.
The author, Christine Henry, sent me a free copy to review.

Christine painted the original artwork for every page with watercolors. Christine is also passionate about black cats, which can take longer to be adopted.

Burt: The Airport Cat Book Review
The story is about a cat named Burt taking a trip with his family. Burt is to fly in the plane’s storage area in his cat carrier.
Unfortunately for Burt, his cat carrier comes up before he is loaded into the plane, and he doesn’t make the flight with the family. Burt, however, doesn’t seem all that concerned and goes on an adventure.
Burt meets other animals near the airport, and then he meets some people inside the airport. One of my favorite scenes was when a random lady held Burt on her lap.

I could be a cat lady that holds lost cats in the airport. And it also reminded me of my black cat Midnight (he died in 2022).

Overall, I enjoyed the book, which of course has a happy ending!
Christine let me know that the reading level is for kids nine years and up. Younger kids may enjoy the story if it’s read to them and will like looking at the pictures.

The book is available on Amazon. Click here to see it (this is my affiliate link).
I also made a video talking about the book (Buster is the cat on my lap).
