Vivo X100s is coming with flat metal frame, Dimensity 9300+ & four colors

Highlights:

Vivo is planning to add yet another smartphone in its X100 series, dubbed as Vivo X100s

It is slated to arrive with a flat metal display, a 1.5K OLED panel, and a Dimensity 9300+ SoC

The speculated launch is happening next month in China but it remains unclear if and when the flagship phone will arrive in India and globally

Vivo announced its Vivo X100 series in China in November 2023 followed by its Indian launch in January 2024. It seems like the series isn’t yet complete as we are hearing about an upcoming Vivo X100s. The phone is slated to arrive in the Chinese market sporting a Dimensity 9300 (or Dimensity 9300+) SoC as per Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

According to the latest update from DCS, Vivo has reached the final design for the X100s. The phone is likely to sport a 1.5K flat display with ultra-narrow bezels. Given the flagship cadre, the phone is likely to bring a flat metal frame with a sandwich design thanks to its front and back glass.

Looks like the phone will have three color options – titanium, cyan, white, and black. If reading about ‘titanium’ got you thinking, we would say it’s still unclear whether titanium is just a color or whether Vivo will integrate a titanium frame on the X100s. Perhaps, it is a flagship phone so we won’t deny the offering just yet.

Vivo X100s Specifications (Speculated)

According to a previous report, Vivo X100s is likely to be powered by Dimensity 9300+, an overclocked version of Dimensity 9300 SoC. The chipset is yet to launch although other reports suggest X100s could get Dimensity 9300 SoC as the brain under we got earlier with the vanilla Vivo X100 5G.

The phone is speculated to feature a flat (aforementioned) OLED FHD+ panel, and a 5000mAh battery with 100W wired compared to 120W on the X100 series. When it comes to the launch, it is slated to arrive in China next month i.e. April 2024 alongside Vivo Pad 3 and Vivo X Fold4 if all goes as planned. For now, it remains shrouded in mystery whether or not Vivo plans to roll out the device in India or outside China for that matter.
