Deals: Xiaomi 14 Ultra arrives with a discount, Galaxy S24 series gets 10% off

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is an impressive camera phone – Xiaomi even hired pros to shoot a film on it. It features a 50MP 1”-type main sensor, 50MP 75mm tele and 50MP ultra wide (with AF), plus a 32MP selfie camera with a wide 22mm lens. The rest of the phone is equally impressive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 6.73” QHD+ LTPO 120Hz display with 12-bit colors and a 5,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging.

It’s technically still on pre-order, but shipping starts on Monday. You can apply a £1199 voucher to the MSRP of £1,300 and you should get another £50 off at checkout.

The Xiaomi 14 is already available, Amazon offers a £50 voucher and £50 more at checkout for this one. It’s smaller but not small with a 6.36” 1200p LTPO display (120Hz, 12-bit colors). It too runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has a triple 50MP camera – a smaller but not small 1/1.31” sensor in the main, 75mm tele lens and 115° lens (no AF) on the ultra wide). The 4,610mAh battery does 90W charging over a wire and 50W wirelessly.

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series gets a straight 10% discount across the board – this covers the S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra – and you can get £100 trade-in credit. The cherry on top is 1 year of free Disney+ (that’s worth £110).

The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic are also available with a 10% discount. This includes both sizes and both Bluetooth and LTE models (except the small Classic with LTE for some reason).

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo offers a fast 144Hz 6.55” AMOLED display (FHD+ resolution) for just £250. It comes with the 5G-capable Dimensity 7030 chipset, a 50+13MP camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging.

For £50 more you can get the regular Motorola Edge 40. This one has the same display but a Dimensity 8020 chipset, which is quite a bit more powerful (the GPU especially). Also, this one has an aluminum frame instead of plastic and while the battery is smaller at 4,400mAh, it supports both 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.

The Motorola Razr 40 was £700 for the longest time, but you can now grab it for £100 less. The 6.9” 144Hz LTPO inner display (FHD+, 10-bit) is pretty awesome, the 1.5” line display on the outside decidedly less so. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 isn’t ideal either, but this is pretty cheap for a foldable.

Unfortunately, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra sticks to the £850 that it has held for months. This one has a better Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a much more usable 3.6” cover display (144Hz OLED). The cameras are not great, however, especially at this price.
